mady lost her first teeth!

Mady the day after her high chair accident
The day of
Happier times!
Mady lost her first teeth about a week ago. The first tooth had to be pulled by the dentists due to an absest. It was her top front tooth. The second one, on the bottom, came out the next morning! She had an accident 2 years ago with the teeth she lost. We were out having lunch with my friend Taya for my birthday and Aaron and mady were playing with the high chair. Well the highchair went back on Mady and fell on her face hitting her teeth. Her teeth were all messed up. when I had looked down to see her on the floor with the high chair on her, her lip was missing also. Every single one of her teeth were placed different. The two top teeth were shoved up into her gums and all the other teeth were turned and shoved and yucky. The dentist told us that she would be very lucky if she kept them. So she was very fortunate to have kept them this long. We still don't know if the permanent teeth are o.k.. Her lip was fixed 2 days later. They wanted to wait to make sure there was no infection in her lip area. So first thing Monday morning she went into surgery to reconstruct her lip. The dr. essentially took skin out of her mouth where her lip was and pulled it out, and stitched it up. it actually looks pretty good, compared to how it looked. It was a very traumatic day and one I will never forget. I would have to say that right now that has been the worst day of my life as a parent. I am sure something else will take it's place, but for now this is the winner!!!

Kung fu Aaron

I am a little slow with this blogging thing. About 3 weeks ago Aaron got promoted in Karate. He was so excited. He is now a yellow belt. we had originally put him in karate to keep him busy. He is like the energizer bunny. And yes sometimes he drives me crazy!!! So I signed him up. He has done so well. He really HeYaas! He can yell all he wants to in class and get's it all out before he comes home. He is really good about not using it on his siblings. Although I am sure he would love to at times. He is a wirey little sucker! So this has been really good for him.

Happy Birthday to me!

I had a great birthday. I appreciated all the cards and Happy birthday songs. I saved them on my phone. Thankyou Mom, Dad, and Jodi for the cake and gift cards and songs. I don't usually make my own cake cause I just don't feel like it, so this year my mom baked me and cake and Jodi and my Dad came and dropped it off. They broke into my garage and put the cake in my freezer (Anthony's truck door was unlocked so they got the garage door opener). Thank you. They also came at night probably when we were asleep and decorated my door with a happy birthday sign and baloons taped all over my windows. Thankyou Friend for taking me to lunch (Ruby Tuesdays has yummy lunch). It was a great lunch with an awesome Friend!!! You are the best. My friend Taya took Mady for me so that I could go out to lunch. Thankyou for the great smell good stuff! Cassie and Aaron sang to me. I think that Anna mae and Colton were supposed to be singing but all I heard was Cassie and Aaron. It was great! There family is awesome! I love them. Ryan also called to wish me a happy birthday. It's always great talking to him since we don't see them or talk very often. Thank you to all those birthday wishes on Facebook and anyone else I forgot. It was a great day! And as usual I will post pictures later.

Cameron and Spencer are cruzin!!!

I am so happy for Cameron and Spencer. Last Wednesday was our court of honor. They both have been working so hard in scouting. Cameron got his Life in scouting and Spencer got his Tenderfoot and 2nd class. Spencer was a little bumbed because he could have gotten his 1st class but he was 1 campout shy. He went on that campout yesterday and today, but we couldn't count it until he went, so that will be the next court of honor. Anthony has worked with them alot. And the only reason they are as far as they are is because he has gone to scout camp with them. He is a good Dad! Anthony also has Cameron's eagle project lined up. So I think Cameron may get that by the end of the year. He is quite excited. At the stake court of honors they give the boys a big knife and recognize them when they get there eagle, so he REALLY wants to get it done so he can get that. We are proud of both of them. They are doing awesome in scouting. Of course I have not downloaded the pictures from the court of honor yet. Lover has them on his computer. I will have to post pictures later. sorry!
